Here at Bristol House, we care about your family members holistically. This includes taking a careful look at one of the most important aspects of care: diet. We’ve partnered with experts in the field, including Dr. Julie Lachman, Naturopathic doctor, to support your family’s health. In fact, our chef is learning new recipes that incorporate fragrant herbs that not only taste good but also have been studied to support brain health.
Dr. Lachman reports, “Research has shown that turmeric, a main ingredient in curry powder, has been shown to improve memory in patients with Alzheimer’s disease, and I’m so glad Bristol House is using this and other spices in everyday cooking.” Here is a more-detailed report: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2781139/.
